At 5', 10'', Hunter led NCC - now North Carolina Central University - to the 1949 National Tournament title game where NCCU finished as the runner-up. Harold was drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1950 and was the first black player to sign an NBA contract. After the NBA Hunter went on to assist the legendary John B. McClendon at Tennessee State University (TSU). Hunter eventually became the head coach at TSU during a period when TSU sent 17 players to the NBA. This item cannot be gift wrapped.
