This is a replica of a glove that would have been worn around 1915-1925. (The era of Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Joe Jackson) The glove is made of 100% cowhide, but looks like brown ''Horse Hide,'' the ''hide'' of choice in the 1920's. This glove is smaller in size compared to today's glove. During this period webs were made of strips of leather sewn between the thumb and pointer finger.
